Porta Naviglio Grande speaks the language of the great Italian excellences — those of design, architecture and the craftsmanship of the artistic ceramics that were once produced right here.

Today, in the wake of historical memory, a residential complex rises made up of three buildings: two towers, joined at the base, and a linear building, all overlooking a large central park.

Materials

Harmony of contrasts.

The compact volumes, containing the housing units and community spaces, are clad in stone- and wood-effect materials. The stairs and circulation elements are instead a light mix of glass and steel. Palazzo Naviglio Grande is distinguished by its particular composition of details and colours. Warm, natural shades alternate with transparency and a high-tech taste: an original meeting of tradition and technology.

Habitable loggias

Today more than ever we all know the importance of having large outdoor spaces to enjoy the benefits of air and sky: private, wide and deep areas to enjoy as extra rooms in the open air.

Park

Among green rooms, paths and benches in the shade of the foliage, a central clearing opens up: here stands the work of art “GENIO E POESIA”, a tribute to Leonardo da Vinci and Alda Merini, symbolic references of an ancient and modern Milan. The heart of the residential complex, the park is the connecting thread of the project, the setting in which the residences are immersed, the natural scenery that offers an oasis of peace in the city.
